Cloud 9 to host the best of the west

By Ike Jouhal

Earlier this month, I issued a challenge to Chris White, Rob Heckman and Scotty Burnett to prove that they are better than the players in Washington State. I told them to bring a fourth member of their choice, and play for bragging rights!

These three players are a force by themselves, and they can choose their fourth, but John Husman will be on the opposing side, our side.

I have watched them shoot, they all have a history of excellence in darts. On the other hand, I have seen so much talent here that I am confident that we can muster up a team to challenge their might. We’ll prove that we have more talent here in the North.

The challenge has been accepted, by the way, in a haughty way, like “Easy money”, “You’re waking up a hungry sleeping bear”, “You’re on, anytime”, and never-ending statements about how our record speaks for itself, there is no question as to who is the best.

My answer? Guys, it has never been tested. The stage is set! November is the month. We’ll publish the date in the November issue of the Medallion.

I have watched them shoot in France and Vegas. I know their strength and their weaknesses. You watch, the North wins!

No offense to the champs, but it has been a long time since they have tasted a real challenge. They know the competition down South is not as tough as it is here. They’re used to easy wins. That will be our strength. Either way, it will be exciting to watch the best at their best right in our own backyard! Stay tuned!
