Memorial Sunday Shootout
By Ty Hughes
There were 1500 reasons to visit the Cactus Moon on Memorial Sunday at the end of May.
“What do they all have in common”, you say? Well, since you asked… they’re all green and filled with possibilities. Pocketfuls of these will make all your dreams come true! Dead presidents, dinero, moola, duckets, greenbacks man! Take ’em with ya when you leave type cash money, and sponsored by the king of dart houses, the famed Cactus Moon Saloon, Everett, WA.
The lovely Teresa Hestkind, sat poised to field everyone’s concern, of even the tiniest of fraction. She’s all tan and slender, and lookin’ hot. It’s almost like working at the Cactus makes people beautiful. They’re all friggin’ gorgeous over there - just sayin’.
The day started with an early afternoon $750 Added. Mmm, don’t ya just love the smell of money with your morning coffee?
They hosted a thirteen-team tournament early, and still threw $500 into the pot. Last year, the day shoot brought in 28 teams - what happened to everybody?
The 8 o’clock tournament did, however, bring in their customary 28 teams for the night, and the people were happy. As usual for Cactus, there were plenty of southend players in attendance (Kent, Tacoma, etc.). Folks will get in the car and drive for a good tournament, this we know.
Cactus Moon is your quintessential dart house, featuring a plethora of creative weekly dart tournaments and concepts that draw close the community of players. From end to end, this bustling bar comes alive with activity and excited chatter. Kristin, Kane and the rest of the girls keep the taps a’flowin’ all night long for their faithful dart-throwing crowd. And, as we always say about the Moon; the service is second to none!
The lower level is completely dedicated to darts and dart players. It’s a fun party at the Moon, and they’ve got plenty of room for everyone. Bring your friends and enjoy good food, nice drink prices, and great company. Check out their ad here for events and tournaments scheduled at Cactus Moon in July!
