Wah Long Sportsbar in Burien hosted 14 teams for their Low-Rated dart shoot on Saturday, December 12. Advertised as a $200 Gtd. Added, 10 point team max (7 point individual max), they got started early with a 2pm start time.
Jayleen ran the tournament, and everyone had a blast! Trish and Kal ended up taking top honors, followed closely by Mark (Hoop) and Lulu in 2nd place. By the time they were wrapping up the day shoot, folks started coming in for Wah Long’s big $1,000 Payout shoot scheduled for that very night. Of course, many of the day-shoot players stuck around and signed up for the evening shoot.
This occasion was also touted as Wah Long’s Birthday Trios Shoot for the month of December. Carlos, Anita, Erik, Christy, and Daniel were the guests of honor, each turning another year older. And though each of them were on hand for the big event, only Anita was showered with flowers and balloons from friends and fans alike.
New dart players, Jamile and Dee were sitting quietly to the side, still uncertain about this whole scene. They share many mutual friends, and in fact, Dee herself was also celebrating her birthday on that same day!
Jimmy, Wah Long’s owner, added another $500 to the pot to create a nice payout, awarding the players who dedicated themselves to spending a Saturday night partying at Burien’s biggest dart house. You can pop into Wah Long at any time of any day and find yourself in the company of avid dart shooters. So there’s always somebody to throw a game and/or just chat about the game in general.
