Latitude 84’s Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot last November went over big, drawing 16 teams for the event. Each player in the top seven teams that night were given a 20 pound turkey to take home with them. It was an awesome dart promotion, and the players all had a great time.
On Saturday, December 19th, it was another special day at Latitude 84. Harvey Crudup, Dart Coordinator, hosted a Christmas Shoot for his faithful players. The bar matched the entry fees, plus added another 50% over and above to reward those that came out. It wasn’t a huge turnout, but everybody really enjoyed an afternoon of dart competition. The idea is to give the players an opportunity to play, warm up, and prepare for any Saturday night shoots they may have planned. So Harvey kicks off the shoots around 3pm for that purpose, in order to be finished up by 7pm or so.
Harvey and William took 3rd Place in this one, while David and Jenny split the 1st and 2nd Place winnings with Tre and Skeeter.
Lynette and Victor came out too, but eventually joined the ranks of spectators when they were knocked out of the tournament.
Thursdays are a real draw at the Latitude, after leagues, when applicable. If there are no leagues, they will usually get started a bit earlier. They’ll get anywhere between 12 to 16 teams on any given Thursday night, adding 200% to the entry fees.
Check out their ad and plan your January schedule to include the Latitude 84. When there, tell Harvey you want to play on a team for Spring Leagues. These guys will take good care of you. There’s always a strong Latitude contingent at the State Finals and you could be next!
