Wayne’s World was all about the fun on Tuesday, December 22, when fourteen teams came out in recognition of Rod and Ricky’s birthday shoot.
Wah Long’s crowd all piled into the car and cruised over to Wayne’s World to make one big tournament. Liz, Wayne’s World owner, and Ricky, Coordinator and birthday boy, couldn’t have been happier to see several carloads of players show up on their doorstep, ready to play.
Someone had painstakingly decorated the bar in two distinct themes to appeal to each celebrated guest. Rod’s side of the room was all Washington Huskies colors, while Ricky’s side was all Pittsburgh Steeler’s colors. Sorry Ricky, I gotta go with Rod on this one, buddy. Happy birthday to you both though! Christy was also having a birthday, but she wasn’t available for comment.
After six-months of recovering from a serious accident at work where Nic lost part of both his thumbs, he and Angel were just happy to be playing darts again. This was his very first night back, and he couldn’t have been happier. Angel said he was going crazy not being able to play. In fact, he had to completely retrain himself on how to throw his darts again.
Meanwhile, Nico’s over there throwing like a 17, nailin’ 3-In-The-Beds and Hat Tricks to win.
Mindy was at Rod’s side, and looking as fabulous as ever - miss that girl! Liz was shooting in the tournament and having a blast, enjoying all her old friends.
The bar was festive and fun. Rick ran the bar with a little help, and kept everyone drinking happily.
Gary Rouse was in the house, running the charts to help give Ricky a bit of a break, so he could enjoy his own birthday shoot.
Apparently, Wayne’s World was the site of one crazy Halloween Party where folks in costume really had a night to remember, according to Rod. Great to see Rod again, out from the woodwork.
