On Saturday, January 3rd, the Ox Sports Bar hosted the banquet for the Central Phoenix Dart Leagues. It was Troy Vending’s first banquet of 2009. Hopefully, they all turn out as well as this one did.
Julie, from the Ox, made all of the food for the banquet, which included a pasta dish, meatballs, salad and all of the extras. It was very delicious and everyone went back for second helpings.
The NFL playoff games were on the big screen and everyone cheered the Cardinals on to victory.

The Blind Draw had 46 players sign up. Tying for 5th place were the teams of Brian Marriott and Christine Cardona along with Johnny Plemmons and Sue Gaona. Fourth place went to the team of Chris Roberts and Jamece Warner. Ron Smith and Brenna Woods came in 3rd place. Quint Warner and Howard battled through the losers bracket and double-dipped Dean Sitzler and Becky Rodrigue, taking 1st place honors. Excellent shooting everyone!
