Saturday, March 28th marked Dawsons’ Roger Bellarin, Karen Crain, Patricia Owings and Louise Jones encounter with Wah Long’s Erik Iwata, Harry Iwata, Butch Nice, and Christy Worley. In their first defense of the Hot Shot Cup, Louise started the fireworks show with a Shanghai (155) in game six.

Latitude 84’s Chunk, SeSe Thomas, Carlos Walker and Jenny Wood had their first defense of the Novice Cup on November 15. Their first challengers were from 13th Ave Pub, a team consisting of Jim Jolly, Rod Elmlund, Steve Matthews and Kristine Crawford. This was the first cup for all of the 13th Ave players.
