CACTUS MOON; EVERETT, WA On Saturday, July 12th, the Cactus Moon Saloon hosted this year’s In-House Finals event, the first under GT Darts. Five seperate events, run by Tom Williams, were offered including A, B and C Singles and B and C Doubles. Even though it was a small six-week in-house league, it was a complete success, according to Tom. Forty-five teams qualified for the Finals. First place in all Singles events were paid out $200, while 2nd paid $120, 3rd paid $80. But the kicker was that everyone was guaranteed at least their $20 entry fees back. Everyone in B and C Doubles were guaranteed in the money - the least of which was $40 per team. C Doubles paid out $400 to 1st place and $600 to 1st in B Doubles! GT Darts supplied some new-fangled plexiglass trophies that were all the rage, presented to 1st and 2nd place finishers in all flights. Our champs this year were: C SINGLES B SINGLES A SINGLES C DOUBLES B DOUBLES Over $5,000 in prize money and trophies were handed out. Cactus Moon’s Paul and Robyn added $500 to the prize pool.
