WILD SPIRITS; RENTON,
WA
Dancin’
and Darts
The music and the darts keep on thumpin’
By Darryl Rieux
You
ought to be saying to yourself, “I can’t believe I missed
another 10 and Under dart shoot at Wild Spirits.” If you were one
of the few that did miss last month’s shoot, you should stop kicking
yourself and put this one on your calendarof regular weekend tournament
stops.
The shooters came from all over the planet, well the Puget Sound anyway,
to get their fair share of the $500 in cash being put up to support the
lower-rated players and their efforts.
Twenty-three teams would show off some pretty incredible dart skills and
there were some higher rated players there for fun and to offer support.
Probably more just to get a good laugh, or they were chasing some pretty
girl or something.
When speaking of Wild Spirits in Renton, the meaning behind the name could
refer to the killer cocktails or the exciting people. I’m sure it
is both that are true; it’s a wild and exciting night out when Wild
Spirits throws a party.
Business is picking up momentum again at Wild Spirits. Their dart tournaments
are getting bigger and DJ D-Breezey spins some great dance music, gettin’
everybody up on the floor shakin’ their groove thangs. Wild Spirits
was a blast; I plan to attend their next super event as well.
Michelle, the owner, says she is pleased to see that bus-iness is looking
up. It mkes for a nice and memorable evening out when you’re in
a place where people are having fun. Be sure to check out the next big
shoot at Wild Spirits and be prepared for good times.
