On Saturday, January 8th, Troy Vending held a banquet for the Central Phoenix Dart Leagues. The banquet took place at the Ox Sports Bar (formerly the Udder Ox). With new owners, Rick and Julie, players were ready to have a great afternoon of darts.

After everyone was done with the buffet, it was time for the awards presentations. Over $8,000 was paid out between the five leagues.

With all of the awards distributed, it was time for the 200% Payback Dart Tournament. Forty-eight players were in the tournament, so it would be almost a $500 payout.

Johnnie Clark and Chris Tinkey along with Conrad Lydolph and Rick Amoroso tied for fifth place. In fourth place was the team of Bonny Kendall and Hollis Dunlap. Third place went to Dan Laws and Michael Buettner. It came down to the final two teams. Tobin Crouch and Don Piper battled back through the losers bracket to capture second place, leaving Dale Gibbs and Jerry Hubbard the top spot and $200. Great shooting!
