NEW SHERIFF HAS SIXSHOOTERS

Sixshooters is back on Fridays! JR is back, also. Not Ewing, but Castillo. A recent promotion (Congrats) has put JR in charge at Sixshooters on Peoria & 35th Avenue.

Things improved immediately, with back-to-back great turnouts at the Friday dart tournament.

On November 5th, the twist was on; not the Chubby Checker twist, we rigged the tourney. Not really rigged, cause that is illegal, immoral and down right not fair, too. But fair is what we made it.

With lots of new shooters and ladies, about 12, and lots of old veterans and masters, also about 12, we did a modified draw. The top 12 could not draw each other, which means you got it, neither could the bottom 12. It would turn out to be lots of fun.

We had three guys, Matt Egan, from Peachtree, Georgia; Robert Powell, of Colorado Springs and Mike Powell claiming to be from Florence Prison, all there for their first tournament ever.

Jason and Dave were also in their first one, but they left before any info could be gotten, (I guess that is the right word).

The darts were played without any problems, except missing people. In the end, it was the Moredock family battling for the coveted top spot. Who would wear the pants tonight? And who would wear the G-string outfit? Luckily Jay and Matt Egan would take down Anne and Scooter.

I sure didnt want to see Jay in the G-String again!

Mr. Egan won in his first-ever dart tournament. I told him he was a pro dart player now. I called Arachnid and put him on the pro list. The Rymer factor and Brenda took the third spot, and all seemed to have a great time. With a new Sheriff in town (JR Castillo, not Ewing), things look promising for the dart players at Sixshooters.
