Cheers on Bell Road has always had a 300% ladies only tournament; however, many times not enough women show up to even have the event.

Not so on Friday, November 19th. They were there, thanks to many fine ladies from the Eastside, who traveled a long way to have some fun. Of course Barb, Anne and Tina are always there ready to play.

It was a great atmosphere! While the girls started, the guys were finishing the cash games and getting going as well. In the Ladies event, it was Anne and Meggan against Carlotta and Lauren, and it was a battle � a lot of kicking and scratching.

Not really, just good shooting and some laughter. In the end, it didn�t matter who won, but how the game was played. Carlotta and Lauren snuck out the victory.

The men battled late into the night. It was good to see Doug Malde out, and Bill Beard has made a resurgence at the Bell tourney. They would draw and take third. It was the law firm of Castillo (Bob) and Lopez (Martin), or the Mexican Connection, set to challenge Martin (Not the Throwin� Samoan) Bedoni and the Master of Disaster (Me).

It looked like it would be a battle, but it wasn�t; we won, they didn�t, not much more to add.
