As you can see, this was a great season and everyone in first and second got personalized trophies.
After all the awards and trophies were handed out we started to do our draw for the first of two dart tournaments. Our first dart tournament was a $10 entry fee that was a Garrison Parity, blind draw; women don't draw women, handicap tournament.
If you are asking what is the Garrison Parity let me explain:
Garrison Vending has perfected a system where the top half of its dart players draws the bottom half, so it evens out the playing field. On top of that, its handicapped, but we never end up having a 4 point team playing a 28 point team, the most anyone gave away was 4 marks in cricket, and 72 points in 701. If it sounds hard to do a draw like that - it is, but the only fair way for a handicap tournament. This tournament had 40 players, $400 added, with an $800 payout.
The results are as follows:
1st; Anthony Johnson, Bob Ashcraft
2nd; Daniel Vinesky, Karen Maines
3rd; Bob Spaugh, Stormi Johnson
4th; Chad Pratt, Ray Salvage
5th Tie; Charley Farley, Angela Bishop
5th Tie; Enoch Davis, Arnie Hogan
Tied for 7th; Paul (kidney stone) Parosky, Troy Shaw
Tied for 7th; Ken Vanornam, Brad Kruse
After the first tournament was just about finished, we did our draw for the second dart tournament that was just a blind draw. For this tournament we had 18 players signup with $90 added, with a payout of $180.
Those results are as follows:
1st - Daniel Vinesky, Tim Inman
2nd - Anthony Johnson, Stormi Johnson
3rd - Jim Winsor, Karen Maines
4th - Katy Craig, Travis Wells
As you can see, it was a big night for Garrison Vending. For the players that have asked what our payouts were compared to the other valley Medalist League operator, we don't know what theirs was, but we are doing the math and here is ours below:
$2000 paid back to our league winners
$400 added to first dart tournament
$380 for first and second place trophies
$200 for banquet room rental and food
$160 added for second dart tournament
$40 for first and second place trophies for dart tournament
That's a minimum $3180 paid out this season by Garrison Vending. For more information please visit www.garrisonvending.com.
