We've never awarded Top Gun at the AZ Open, but if we did, the 2005 edition would go to Scotty Burnett, hands down.

Scott, who works at Magic Darts in Sacramento, decided to come over and see what Arizona darts was all about, and he anded up winning all six of his events. That has never been done before!

He started by winning the Blind Draw on Friday with Tom Slivka and ended Sunday with the Doubles Cricket title, along with David Fatum. In between were both Masters Singles titles and Mixed Trips. Not a bad weekend!

Scott praised the Arizona players and how well he was accepted them. He also said that he didn't have one easy match all weekend. It was great that he came and hopefully he can convince more California players to come next year.

Congratulations, Scott. What was I thinking when I called you to come?
