A Woman's Perspective

Vegas, what a town and oh, what a great time! The NDA tournament is a great time to see old friends, make new ones, throw some darts and have some fun. It is also an opportunity to make an impression about who we are and how we choose to represent the game of darts.

From the way we dress to how we greet our opposition will create the image of darts and its players in Arizona as well as America. This is definitely a time to shine - dress up - and be extra courteous.

This year will be the first time playing in a tournament of this size for some people. It could even be their first time to Vegas. This is a perfect time to show them how fun darts can be and why we enjoy it so much. Then, the next year they will come back excited and bring their friends, only to help the world of darts grow.

Others might be veterans who never miss a year. They will be the role models and mentors who set the tone. People will be watching, learning, following and imitating. Keeping this event friendly and competitive with good sportsman-like behavior can make it one of the best yet.

So, from our point of view - please remember, one of us is representing all of us. Good shooting, safe travels and we will see you in Vegas!
