AMOA National Darts Association welcomes its Executive Director
No stranger to the AMOA National Dart Association (NDA), Leslie A. Murphy, CAE, along with the firm with which she is associated, Raybourn Group International (RGI), has been selected to lead the NDA once again as Executive Director.
Leslie, who served as NDA's Executive Director from September 1997 to December 2006, left the NDA to join RGI, a professional association management company, and its specialty consulting division, Sightline Solutions, Inc. We were terribly sad to say goodbye to Leslie last year when she left the NDA, said NDA President Kenny Mahoney. But when we saw the opportunity to secure her leadership once again, we were thrilled at the possibility of having her back by securing her company's services.
The NDA engaged RGI to manage daily affairs of the NDA. As an association management firm, it provides full leadership and management services to associations, including staff, office space, communications infrastructure, and all member services and programs.
Kenny also commented that, This improved and updated direction for the NDA represents a current trend in the ways trade and professional associations are managed. The NDA members, players, and partners will not have any interruption in services whatsoever; in fact, we anticipate increased staffing to service members as well as future cost containment because of this move.
New Executive Leslie Murphy noted that, I am also pleased that we will be able to retain the services of current NDA staff members Alyssa Pfennig and Cathy Wheeler. This will aid in making a smooth transition.
Raybourn Group International was founded in 1988, and manages seventeen international, national and state associations with executive leadership, support staffing, financial leadership, event and meetings management, and all other functions typical of associations. It is headquartered in Indianapolis , Indiana . |
