In-House at My Ole Mans ala Garrison
By Anthony Johnson
I wanted to share this with all you dart players out there. I recently finished up a 12 week In-House league with Garrison Vending that was played out of My Ole' Mans. We had six teams playing for a $1,600 payout.
We were all skeptical on how this would turn out at the end of week 12. I am glad to say that all six teams were there till the end. What kept everyone playing and showing up every Thursday night was that this was a Parity league. This made it real hard for anyone to just sandbag their way to first place. When you are giving up 9 marks or just 2 marks in Cricket, there is no room for sandbagging.
That is why this league is so popular and will continue to grow next season. We already have more than eight teams signed up for next season, which will start in early May.
I have played for many In-House leagues over the years, and this one by far is the best one I have played for. This league was set up to be a fun league, no worrying about stats or sandbagging, just 12 dart players plus all their friends having a good time shooting darts. Next season should be even better.
So the next time you are looking to play in an In-House league that is all about fun, and of course has a big payout, the right one to chose is Garrison Vending In-House League at My Ole' Mans!
At the end of the season, on April 19, we had a little payout party. After all the monies were paid out, there was a 300% Parity Singles tournament, and 10 players stayed to play. In the end, it was Robert Cisneros who took home first place and $130.
Good job, ROC!
I would like to thank Travis Wells for having the idea and getting this league started. We could not have done it without him. Thanks again, Travis. If you are interested in joining this In-House league, a Medalist Dart League or a Garrison Vending Dart League, call Tim at Garrison Vending.
