Stinger's just topped off a month of dart shoots with a $1,000 tournament on Friday, June 23rd. It was a crazy month � with the new smoking ban, the hot summer temperatures, and everyone traveling to get out relief from the hot weather.

Dale and Dana always do right by the darters and all their patrons. Even the small crowds didn't keep them from paying out over $8,000 in prize money � not even including the June 30th shoot!

It takes great owners to make a great bar, and Stinger's is among the elite. With just over one year under their belts as owners, Dale and Dana have made the biggest impact in darts in years.

When the bar was too hot, they added brand new air conditioning units; when the table space wasn't enough, they re-designed the place, and when the players wanted more boards, they brought in new boards. You need a bar to play league in? Well, they want you; you want to play poker, sing karaoke, or hear a great band? They have it all.

But, it all revolves around darts. Stinger's has made a great commitment to the darts community and follows through, big time. For their big shoots, they got a permit, shut down some of the parking lot, put up awnings and made sure the smokers were taken care of too.

On the 23rd, only 36 players made it for the $1,000 shoot, not nearly enough for the minimum. Did Dale waiver, no way. He didn't pull the old �not enough players� and give a small amount; he paid the full share and more. When Dean Sitzler and I won first and received over $300, it was a shock. Most do a 200% without the minimum, but not at Stinger's. They show the players how much they want them there by paying out the max.

Great darts, great food, great service, great atmosphere and Ice Cold Beer, Stinger's is the place to be. Thanks for all your efforts, Dale and Dana, it is appreciated�
