Nancy Fox Memorial Tournament

I just wanted to update you on the results of the 7th Annual Nancy Fox Memorial Dart Tournament, held July 22 at the American Legion in Yuma , AZ. Once again we had a great turnout with people coming from Brawley and El Centro , CA and Phoenix and Mesa � and of course, lots of players from Yuma .

This year we had 104 people participate in this blind draw, double elimination tournament with a prize fund of $1,500. All the food, karaoke (one of Nancy 's favorite things) and the Legion were all donated, which helped us to raise over $7,598 for Hospice of Yuma.

This year we also designated our 50/50 raffle to go to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. With the help of the winner, Michelle Hall, who donated $100 of her 50/50 winnings, we will be sending a check to them for $500 in Nancy 's memory. AA Amusement here in Yuma also donated a regulation dart board to be raffled, which was a big part of our success this year. We want to thank everyone who turned out for this event to honor Nancy Fox.
