Distribution
of Medallion triples

One of the most important factors for a successful news publication along
with well-balanced and fair coverage, is widespread distribution -
getting the word out, meeting the critical mass, reaching the majority.
Admittedly, we’ve had our issues with distribution in the past.
We’re coming into our fifth year of publishing local dart news within
the Phoenix market and it’s high time we address this issue.
I had the pleasant experience of visiting the Phoenix area in August,
and although way too flippin’ hot, I was extremely pleased with
the comments and reactions from both the players and location owners with
respect to the Medallion’s positive influence throughout the area’s
darting community. Everyone I spoke with, and I swear, I spoke with 90
percent of the populace, highly appreciated the superior quality of the
Medallion dart newspaper.
There was, however, one concern - the quantity and availability.
In a concerted effort to solve this dilemma, we’ve since hired a
familiar face from within the community to assist us in “getting
the word out”. Please meet Amador Torres, the Medallion’s
Distribution Coordinator.
Amador is an avid dart player and not too shabby either! Amador knows
where all the action is and where it ought to be. He knows the Phoenix
and surrounding areas like the back of his hand and makes a promise to
see to it that future distribution meets the highest standards. Familiar
with all the largest and the smallest of locations, Amador will be gracing
each of these in the coming months with a stack of Medallions under his
arm.
So, please welcome him into your bar with glee as he comes bearing good
news, news of your friends and their escapades around the dart scene.
If your location would like to offer the Medallion to your players and
you’re not currently receiving the paper, please don’t hesitate
to call us at (206) 253-8355 and we’ll get you on the distribution
list.
If you’d like to reach local players with your promotions, place
an ad in the Medallion for best results. We’ll build your ad for
free - just sit back and watch the Medallion work for you!
In the interest of providing more quality event coverage each month, we’ve
also enlisted the help of the fabulous Kelli Wise to provide interesting
articles and photos of local tournaments. Watch for Kelli and all her
bubbly enthusiasm to burst through your doors, camera and notepad in hand,
during your next big event. Say “Hi” and give her your undivided
attention, as she is there to publicly critique your location and event
in the next fantastic issue of the best damn dart newspaper in the country!
Thanks for all your support and happy darting!
