Open Letter to dart players
By Lance “Slant Man” Arsenian
Hey, dart players, I have to tell you about a place to go to for a great time. I have been playing darts now for over 20 years. In that time, I’ve played league out of over 15 bars and have been sent to play at over 100 different locations. But, I’ve got to say, never have I or my partners had a better time than we did at Angie’s Place on Rainer Avenue!
It’s not the greatest dart bar set up, but a great place to play and have a fantastic time with some really super people. From the players to the bartenders and even the people who come and just hang out, I have never been treated so well. The bar and its patrons give their league players such incredible support and are extremely pleasant to the guest teams. We had a great time both times we were there.
For playoffs, the players and their friends brought food to share with us, the enemy, how about that? At the end of one of the best matches I have ever been a part of, Chris, Dewayne, Art, and friends even popped a bottle of champagne to wish us well at State! Unbelievable! Sorry guys for not holding up our end up at Finals.
What great people at Angie’s! If you’re looking for a new place to play, and you live in South Seattle or the Renton area, check out Angie’s. I know you will be treated well and have a memorable experience. We sure did, both times. Thanks Angie’s crew, it was much appreciated.
