Cloud 9 Corner

We at Cloud 9 would like to say “Thank You” to all of our dart teams (extended family) and everyone else who has supported us both through league and tournaments. You are who’ve made us the #1 Dart House in the WORLD as well as a warm and welcome place to compete and hang out with your friends.

We are extremely proud of our accomplishments in leagues and are attempting to get back to where we used to be in tournaments. If you haven’t noticed, we have been running at least 1 BIG $$$$$ tourney every month. Our Friday night tourneys are back to Brings and we have raised the point cap to 21. We are guaranteeing $200 every Friday and Saturday, but increasing that to $500 added w/16 teams. This lower team requirement for $500 added has increased our tourneys already. Also, the new TRIP SHOOT CHALLENGE has been a great addition. The carryover pot of $300 ($100 per trip) is increasing every night.

In January, we ran a $2,000 Payout Trios on a Saturday night starting sign ups at 6pm. With our 32 team max, unfortunately we had to turn a few teams away. We had teams from the Northend, Eastside, Tacoma and of course our local teams and when all was said and done, this is how it turned out:

1st place was Randy, Joe and Tim; $230 each, 2nd place was John, Yelena and Chris, 3rd place was Peter, Frank and Stacy, 4th place was Robert, Charissa and Brian. Thanks to all the coordinators as well as David and Sheree, and the teams for keeping things going and getting it completed by 2am!

CUP UPDATES: Cloud 9 has been challenging for a lot of cups and would like to thank Ike for putting up the sponsorship fees and all the players that represent Cloud 9 proudly. We are currently the proud owners of four premium cups. We are currently defending the Unlimited Doubles; John Husman and Tony Ashworth, The Medallion’s Unlimited Cup; John Husman, David Foster, Larry Mead and Tony Ashworth, The Players Cup; John Husman, Jay Birkland, Rick Clark and John Devlin, The Women’s Cup; Randi Valantine, Vicki Hill, Krystina Grachek and Dani Turner.

Please make sure to check out this month’s ad for our special events, including a $1,500 Payout Trios, a 7 and Under and two Sign Up Parties. Don’t forget, sign ups close the weekend of State, April 5th. If you need help finding a team, just get in contact with Rick Clark, Tia Russo, Robert Brown or ask the bar staff to help you and we will do our best to find you a spot and add you to our always growing dart family!
