Cloud 9; Kent, WA – Mixed Memorial Cup

A crowd gathered at Cloud 9 to witness this battle between Cloud 9’s Peter Clark, Beverly Rhoads, Darren Houweling, and Lynsey Green. Dawsons brought their best in Del Kahuli, Sean Laperle, Kelly Pappuza and Marcy Chaput.
The match started off with both teams splitting the first four games, tying the match at 2-2. Then in game five, Lynsey hit a Hat Trick to win the game and take a 3-2 lead. In game nine, Peter flexed those dart muscles and hit a Ton 80 to help his team extend their lead, 6-3. Both teams traded games over the next few rounds, and once again, Peter flexed his muscles and hit a White Horse in game 13 to maintain there three-game lead.
Dawsons never gave up. The teams battled back and forth until the Cloud 9 girls stepped it up and won three in a row to give Cloud 9 a 16-11 lead.
Dawsons came back strong on game 28 to make it 16-12, but Cloud 9 once again proved why they hold this cup firm as they took game 29 to win the match 17-12. The score does not reflect how close this match was. At least a dozen games could’ve gone either way. Great shooting and sportsmanship between both teams. Congratulations to Cloud 9 for the win.
