Channel Marker; Edmonds, WA – Big changes at Channel Marker
By Ty Hughes
For those of you who are tuned into the world of darts, this probably won’t be news to you, but Channel Marker’s longtime dart coordinator, Traci Lamb-Ewing has recently separated herself from her duties as Channel Marker’s go-to-gal. She’s decided to move on down the road and in her place comes… NOBODY! And Jan, Channel Marker’s owner, likes it that way.
Oh, don’t be fooled. Channel Marker is still very much in the dart business, they’re simply choosing not to have a dedicated dart coordinator. Instead, they have appointed a couple very familiar and likable ladies to take over the business of running their dart shoots. You may recognize these two sweethearts in darts; Michelle Brower and Renee Skinner!
Yup, it’s true, Michelle and Renee will be acting as tournament directors for Jan, running the shoots in tandem. Channel Marker players, both league and tournament, will have access to a long list of phone numbers which will be posted in the dart room and on their Web site at www.thechannelmarkerpubngrill.com.
For their Sign Up Party and dart shoot in January, the three of them signed up 13 unique league teams just in the short time I was there! Way to go girls!
Channel Marker’s got so much coming up in February in the way of bar promotions – fun, fun, fun! Plus, they’ll be hosting a full day of Bar Olympics on February 20th, where teams of two will compete for cash and prizes playing darts, pool, Buck Hunter and Golden Tee Golf – sort of a triathlon plus one! Can’t wait for this one!
Come on in and get a “taste” of the Channel Marker right soon, won’t you? You will absolutely fall in love with the food, the people and the venue. They’re located on the Edmond’s waterfront at 170 Sunset Ave, Edmonds, WA 98020?(425) 275-9590.
