WAYNE’S WORLD; SEATTLE, WA Scratch your itch at Wayne’s World

By Ty Hughes

Lori was in charge of running Wayne’s World’s Burlap shoot last month, but didn’t. Apparently, she stepped in for Ricky as he was called out of town at the last minute, and wasn’t quite prepared to throw down the whole burlap thing. Everybody was totally cool with that and they agreed on a standard format.

Liz was running around taking care of business, with frequent time outs to sit and chat with friends. It was early on a Saturday. The tourney kicked off at 3pm. Wayne’s World’s dart room filled with around 20-25 players, including all your old buddies like Ron and Don, Herman and Stephanie.

So, we’re all just chillin’ with our Chicken Taco Salad, that day’s special. It was so good, we almost ordered another one!

Lori did a great job running the shoot for Ricky. No doubt he’ll be back soon to resume his post at Wayne’s World. On this day, Herman and Theresa took 3rd place and $40, Rigel and Todd moved on to merely split the winnings with DeWayne and Don, who had to jet. I think if it were up to Todd, he would’ve rather played for that final spot, and I for one would’ve loved to have watched.

Saturday afternoons are meant for Wayne’s World darts. Ricky’s got some fun and interesting tourney formats that will change from week to week. Check out their ad here for more details. Wayne’s World kicks in an extra two hundred bucks when they get twelve teams. Shoot starts at 3pm, so it’s a great warm-up for that night’s tournament wherever you might find yourself. But you’re always welcome to hang out with the fine folks at Wayne’s World where there is usually some kinda zany fun to be a part of. I think Liz oughta write a book about her business, wuddya think?
