Stars mixes it up for fun
Did I stutter? Many were perplexed or just plain confused about Star’s November 7th dart tournament labeled as King and Queen of the House Singles Shoot. Allow me to clarify.
It’s two tournaments in one. The men would battle it out amongst themselves, as would the women, to determine the King of the House and the Queen of the House respectively. The men don’t play the women ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú there are two separate tournaments being run concurrently. Got it? Okay then. Moving right along.
As it was, there was a pretty piss poor turnout for Star’s King and Queen of the House tournament last month, but that didn’t keep anyone from having a great time regardless. And yes, the darts flew anyway.
This is a great promotion, in my humble opinion, and we hope that Star’s coordinator, TJ, will continue what he’s begun; offering a variety of unique opportunities for dart players everywhere each and every Friday night. Also, we hope that you, the dart player, will support his attempts at goodwill by coming out with darts in hand ready to compete.
Ladies Night provides a bonus point for the girls one week, Cricket Only on another, and the extremely popular Birthday Shoot on another, with free entry for all birthdays in that same month.
TJ is wondering what happened to all those faithful Star’s players since he took over for Joe at the coordinator position. He’d like to re-invite you to Star’s Friday night dart shoots. Centrally located, good food and drinks, excellent dart-oriented layout, and friendly people?¢‚Ǩ¬¶ what more could one possibly want in a quality dart house? If you have any suggestions, I’m sure TJ would be interested in hearing them. Stop in and give him a piece of your mind, if you can afford it. He’ll be there waiting to see your shining face every Friday night. Plus, he prides himself for starting his tournaments on time ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú something dart players appreciate and not everyone can say these days.
Check out Star’s ad in this issue to find details on what TJ has cooked up for you this month. It’s always a good time at Stars Bar & Grill on Pacific Hwy. in Federal Way.
