Fridays are reserved for Stars

In a rare turn of events, Stars hosted but a handful of players after a long sun-scorched day in the Pacific NW for their regular Friday night tournament on July 11th. Joe and TJ decided to run a Singles tournament, shocked by the lack of teams when they typically pull an average of 20 teams.
Players with ratings ranging from 1 to 10 warmed up at the boards as TJ constructed the tournament charts. Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the bar, karaoke host, Seth, began his nightly show with a killer version of Black Sabbath’s War Pigs.
Gary and his lovely wife, Jo, came out to play and, of course, sing, as they usually enjoy both darts and karaoke in tandem. Although Jo wasn’t playing in the tournament on this night. She left the dart experience to Gary who was performing very well at the boards.
TJ and DeeDee, longtime friends, have recently laid bare their involvement on a personal level and make a cute couple indeed. Lisa and Glen became Mr. and Mrs. Hudson on March 8th when they tied the knot in an Enumclaw barn designed to host weddings. Glen always said he wanted to be married in his blue jeans and Lisa was glad to oblige.
It was calculated that Stars has awarded over $22,290 in cash payouts over the last year and a half of tournament play ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú an impressive feat according to anyone’s standards. I even joined in the action, winning one and then got smoked by DeeDee as she flat schooled me with her amazing darts. She was a gracious winner, I was proud to lose to such a prolific shooter. The clash among players continued, knocking off the least of them one by one until the top four were finally revealed. They were:
4th Place: Darren, who snagged ten bucks.
3rd Place: Glen, who came away with thirty to offset his bar tab.
2nd Place: Will, who pocketed sixty bucks of his own.
And finally, in 1st Place for the evening was none other than Miles, who was presented with a crisp hundred dollar bill just for playing a game!
Way to go ladies and gentlemen. It was a pleasure to watch you perform your magic.
