Ringer’s Pub active despite slow economy

It was just like the old days driving into Ringer’s Pub, formerly the infamous Sharkey’s, in Mountlake Terrace. By the looks of things, new owner Brett hasn’t had to depend on any Sharkey’s karma ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú he brought his own straight from the Caribbean!

Eight years ago, Brett went to St. John, Virgin Islands, and didn’t come back. Until just recently that is. So what does he do? Oh, y’know, buys a bar and fills it up with beautiful women. You happen to know where all the guys are when there’s a bar full of beautiful women across town? You guessed it ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Ringer’s Pub!

Brett quickly put Darin in charge of the darts. Now Darin has quite an interesting story of his own. But he moved over here with his sweetheart Deanna about five years ago from Montana. He started throwing darts many many years ago among the likes of Paul Lim in Southern California.

Darin and Brett have teamed up to bring darts back to the old stomping grounds with a new name. It’s Ringers. Check ‘em out, the place is awesome! Clean, upscale, comfortable, Ringer’s is a definite must see. Bring your darts and leave the ego at home. Darin makes for a gracious host and doesn’t seem to get too riled over anything. They enjoy around 16 teams each week for their $500 Added dart shoots, which is pretty good for just getting started. Be sure to keep your eyes on Ringer’s Pub for more incredible darting events to come.

Beware, Brian Smith roams the premises on a regular basis. He wasted no time reclaiming his old post without missing a beat. I think he even peed in the corner, marking his territory ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú maybe I’ve had one too many beers.

Darin opens his tournaments up to any and all amateur and novice players, no matter your skill level. He signs upwards of six to eight brand new players for each of his tournaments! Plus, he says each tournament draws a completely different group of players than the last.

They had a raffle going for the Bull Shoot Pot, which stood at $60.00. Dave Bresee got a shot at it when they drew his number. His first two were in the black! One more in the black and he wins twice the total in the pot – $120.00. Well, he just missed it by a hair and was happy to take the sixty bucks since he was just knocked out of the tourney.

Ringer’s features great food with a Caribbean flair, surprise, surprise! Brett ended up bringing half his staff back with him from St. John, so you’re gonna get a real treat out of their kitchen. The staff is gorgeous and very efficient. When asked where he found all these beautiful girls, he just said, “Hey, this is Mountlake Terrace, man.”

Coming up at Ringer’s, besides their weekly Saturday shoots at 1:00pm, is a big payout shoot in November, plus a Turkey Trios Shoot where EVERYONE gets a turkey just for playing! You’ve got to pre-register for this one folks.

Ringer’s is big on UFC too. Come in, bring your friends and check out all the UFC fights, the NFL games, and probably even the Sounders on their sweet flatscreens all over the bar.
