R Bar parties with purpose
By Ty Hughes
Terrance and his darting entourage took over the R Bar again in September for a $1,200 Payout shoot. A monthly tradition at R Bar, the players flock to Renton in droves. He signed up 38 teams and the place was completely packed out.
There were lots more reasons to celebrate than just another Friday night too! Several, including Terrance, were celebrating a birthday that night, so the shots were flying out of the bar in recognition of becoming another year better.
But, more importantly, our friend Dominic, dart phenom, would be tying the knot with his longtime sweetheart and had only a few days of singlehood left. Have you seen this man lately? Damn! I hardly recognized the guy – he took off 70 pounds and will definitely look svelt and trim for the upcoming wedding.
Of course, Dom’s buddies wouldn’t let him go and get married without treating him to a few of those traditional customs. Terrance had deemed this party to be Dom’s bachelor party, and brought in a stripper to entertain, not only Dom, but the rest of the bar too. After a bit of confusion, the stripper danced all over him as he sat in his chair. He was very well-behaved and seemed to enjoy the attention.
Dom, we wish you the best in your marriage, buddy! Hopefully, we’ll catch you out for some darts or whatever, and bring your new wife along.
There’s always something going on at the R Bar, if not just relentless practice on the boards. Join them on Friday, October 15 for their next big $1,000 Payout Cricket Only shootout, or every Friday night for a $400 Added dart shoot that packs the house!
