Liquid Lime’s big dart tour begins

The Liquid Lime in Kirkland officially kicked off their Summer Bonanza dart tour on Friday, July 18th. Seventeen teams showed up for the inaugural event, added to the masses that regularly frequent the Lime, and you have one ultra-packed bar.

Brian Linder, Liquid Lime’s dart coordinator, took his regular post in front of the dartboards, fielding requests and questions from the players and managing the tournament charts as only he can do.

Tonight was supposed to be the orientation and formal introduction to the Summer Bonanza and its payouts and prizes, but for some reason there was no formal introduction. Maybe it was the beautiful Cazadores girls dancing around, singing Spanish ballads and wearing next to nothing that distracted them. The girls handed out cowboy hats and shots along with full-color calendars and other giveaways. However, there was a poster displayed with some of the details.

The Liquid Lime Summer Bonanza will run every Tuesday and Friday night from July 18th to October 17th, with the Grand Finale on Saturday, October 25th at 2pm. Twenty five sanctioned tournaments will supply points to players for entering and finishing in the top four. Of the $6 entry fee, $1 will go to the Finals event, which will be a modified Parity Draw. The top 32 point earners will automatically qualify for the Finals.

Get a load of these payouts, as if you needed another reason to join in the Summer Bonanza; 1st Place will payout an incredible $1,100 cash! 2nd Place: $800, 3rd Place: $600, 4th Place: $400 and 5th Place: $200.

Tuesday night will feature a gas card giveaway and “Lime Bucks”. The Liquid Lime will present nightly drink specials and awesome prizes.
