Dart players! There’s a new option for darts in the Renton Highlands! It’s Katie J’s Bar & Grill at 2621 NE Sunset Blvd. (425) 235-6161.
Many of you may remember this place under a different name, but ever since Dennis and Diane took ownership, the place has completely changed, and continues to evolve into a clean, safe, revitalized atmosphere full of great people.

Katie J’s is a family affair. Named after their children; Katie, who is off to college, and Jess, who works hard to keep the bar running smoothly, Katie J’s is Dennis and Diane’s first bar venture. They have some real strong ideas about how they want to operate their bar. First, they’ve worked extra hard, and have succeeded in eliminating the riff-raff. They’ve created a positive, fun place to hang out, play darts, pool, or just the juke box and enjoy a cool cocktail among friendly folks.

They’ve got four Avanti Elites lining the back wall, where Dennis and his players have been practicing apparently. In just his first season last Spring, he pulled out a 2nd Place finish, followed by a 5th in last month’s Finals with his partner Jeff.

They are trying to build a healthy player base at Katie J’s and invite all of you to come out and see their dart set, hang out for a bit and get a feel for their place. You might want to consider Katie J’s as a home for your dart team in the future. Just ask Bill and Brett how they feel about their home bar. These guys are the resident characters appreciated by everyone at Katie J’s.

There’s so much going on at Katie J’s; they’ve got Snow Parties, BBW (Big Beautiful Women) Dances, live DJ Fridays featuring theme nights, plus Beer Pong Wednesdays at 7pm with $5 pitchers. Katie J’s gets a huge response to their promotional nights.

They’ve got kegs to go, starting at just $95 for a big PBR keg! Come in and ask the bartender for details.

As far as darts, Katie J’s is on track to build a quality base of players, beginning with their monthly dart shoots. Their first dart shoot will be on Saturday, February 13th at 7pm. Find their ad in this issue and bring in the coupon for half off any entrée or appetizer of your choice!
