After-league dart fun at Jimmy T’s

In case you’re wondering, Jimmy T’s Thursday night after-league dart shoots are still going and they’re stronger than ever. They’d still like to see you standing on their throw lines sometime soon too.
It’s a great group of shooters that frequents Jimmy T’s every other Thursday (1st and 3rd Thursday each month). You’ll typically see a handful of new players each week, which keeps it very refreshing. Just don’t do what I keep doing; keep showing up on the off nights hoping for a tournament only to find that I’m both a week early and a week late at the same time.
Last month, we partied with some really cool people, including Melvin and Will, Moody and beautiful Tanya. She’s hot, c’mon guys, you gotta admit that she’s got it goin’ on. But, Tanya is hangin’ with Moody these days, so he’s the lucky one.
Actually, she went so far as to predict a Pit win at State with her most awesome trios league team including Will and Moody. Well, I’ve learned to take all this pride and prediction stuff with a teaspoon of salt over the years, but ya gotta respect her bravado either way. Maybe they will go all the way, I guess they’re way out in front of the division. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve come from out of the back field to knock the leaders off their pedestal in the finals. Just sayin’.
Back to the tournament at Jimmy T’s though, Aaron; aka, “A-Train” was actually running the tournament for DeWayne one night in November. Apparently DeWayne actually works for a living… who knew? He did eventually come in all dressed up in a button down and tie, looking all professional, a bit late from work, but he had A-Train there and ready to kick off the tournament on time. Way to go dude! This is one reason why Jimmy T’s Thursdays are still growing.
Besides that, it’s a cool tourney: $300 Added with only 8 teams, 21 point bring. Well they always get their minimum number of teams, so it’s basically a guaranteed added, late on a Thursday night when everybody is all warmed up and still want to throw some more darts. They’ll usually fill the place with anywhere from 12-15 teams, and like I said, always a new personality or six.
