Fun Father’s Day at Cactus Moon
Fun Father’s Day at Cactus Moon
By Ty Hughes
All the daddies at Cactus Moon’s Father’s Day Shoot were allowed free entry into the dart tournament Sunday, June 20. I was one of them.
Robin and I cruised out on a Sunday night after our softball game was rained out. We joined some forty other dart players for some playin’ time!
Kane was working the bar and the room in the tradition of service Cactus Moon is renowned for. Cindi was all dressed up and looking as hot as ever having just come from a wedding. She was happy to have such a great turnout right on the heels of a huge night the day before. Thirty-eight teams came out for their huge $2,000 Added Shoot. These things are great big!
Jim Hestkind was out for some darts after spending the day at his son’s ball game like a good daddy should. Tonight he was shooting with Cheri, who was having a good time. Carlos and Big Show jumped on the I-5 from Burien and headed north for the Cactus Moon. After a scenic tour of Lynnwood and Everett, they finally punched it into the GPS and walked through the doors just in the knick of time.
The house guaranteed $400 added to the entry fees.
Jack was in the house! Now that’s a big fella right there, I don’t care who ya are. Mike and Tracy look great. Mike Williams quit drinkin’ recently and went from a MM9 to a MM14. He looked good and healthy.
Guy and Laurie are diehard dart fans at the Cactus Moon, they’re keeping the love alive and appreciate the crowd here. Todd was shooting with Summer, who was actually celebrating her 26th birthday that day too! She’s a cool person to talk to, real genuine, and gorgeous!
The food is excellent, the service is top shelf, and in the words of Big Show on his first trip to Cactus Moon, “The dart area is so big”.
