Gerald ran the charts for Jenny Wood (Dawson’s Coordinator) when 32 teams rolled in for their big $1,000 Payout shoot on Saturday, June 19.
The bar was packed with good-natured folks, most of whom knew each other quite well, having played together for years around the Tacoma area. Everybody who is anybody was in the house for this one. Dawson’s was rockin’ the strip that night! Even the big bay doors were open to the sidewalk, essentially extending the bar for extra roaming room. Besides, it allows plenty of fresh air to fill the room and maintain a pleasant temperature with all those people.
This night was extra special too because we had newlyweds Joe and Brenda still in their wedding attire after a day of matrimony. Congratulations to the bride and groom!
Not only that, but Smokey and Lorri also tied the knot recently and became Mr. and Mrs. Real! Love is in the air at Dawsons.
Those that committed their evening to playing in Dawson’s big monthly dart tourney enjoyed a full night of social exercise among friends. It’s always a great atmosphere here for darts, and Dawsons will usually get a great turnout.
Craig Freeman, aka; Mr. Clean announced finally that he was moving to California to be with his ailing father and get outta this rain once and for all. We wish Clean safe travels, he will be missed by many. Stay in touch with him on Facebook.
