In-House Finals shows growth

On Saturday, July 12th, the Cactus Moon Saloon hosted this year’s In-House Finals event, the first under GT Darts. Five seperate events, run by Tom Williams, were offered including A, B and C Singles and B and C Doubles.

Even though it was a small six-week in-house league, it was a complete success, according to Tom. Forty-five teams qualified for the Finals.

First place in all Singles events were paid out $200, while 2nd paid $120, 3rd paid $80. But the kicker was that everyone was guaranteed at least their $20 entry fees back.

Everyone in B and C Doubles were guaranteed in the money – the least of which was $40 per team. C Doubles paid out $400 to 1st place and $600 to 1st in B Doubles!

GT Darts supplied some new-fangled plexiglass trophies that were all the rage, presented to 1st and 2nd place finishers in all flights.

4th: Frank/Cher (Cactus Moon)

B DOUBLES
1st: Ishmil/Tami (Jimmy Jacks)
2nd: Justin/Jan (Channel Marker)
3rd: Craig/Ryan (Jimmy Jacks)
4th: Chuck/Jackie (Just Left)
5th: Tim/Jim (JR’s Steakhouse)
5th: Chad/Cindi (Cactus Moon)

Over $5,000 in prize money and trophies were handed out. Cactus Moon’s Paul and Robyn added $500 to the prize pool.
