Building a Log Cabin from the ground up

Dart Coordinator Tim Stemm is working feverishly to get dart players out to the Log Cabin Pub in Sumner for a tournament and show off their brand new 5-board set. He’s using every medium of communication and facet of technology available to get the word out. Get in on some of that Bull and Triple Shot action! Both pots start at $60 each and players can buy in for a buck per ticket, no limit!

It all started a few months back when Tim began pushing their 7 & Under Saturday Singles Shoot at 3:00pm. The task was simple: spread the word to the dart players and all of Tim’s dart-playing friends about the new focus on darts at the Log Cabin. After several months, Tim has seen measurable growth for sure. But strangely the growth didn’t come from where he had expected. There came a rush of internal interest, from within. Tim began building excitement around the bar and the turnouts began to grow. The Log Cabin gave darts a chance, and so far it seems to be working out! They’re building a brand new audience from the ground up. Tim and his friendly personality continues to win over many of the regular patrons to darts. And they’re starting to bring in their friends to play! Way to go Tim! That’s what it’s all about!

Don’t look now, but he’s amassing quite a cute group of new players too. They’re all good lookin’ ladies and loving the game at the Log Cabin. One by one, Tim is getting ‘em hooked on the game, just the same way it happened to you so many years ago.

Oh, you’ll find some familiar faces out to the Log Cabin on any given dart night too. Rob and Star like it here, so do Jay Birkland and Mike Hobbs, but they’re probably chasing one of those little cuties anyway.

Come on out to the Log Cabin, Sumner’s notorious pool house is breaking tradition and putting an emphasis on their dart program.

You’re invited! Pull up to the bar and ask Mary or Brichelle what’s on tap, order a beer and a shot, tip ‘em well, and get in some dart practice. Tell Tim you can’t wait to bring in some friends for their next shoot.

For November, the Log Cabin is offering their 7 & Under Shoot on alternate weekends; Saturday, November 12 and 26. Plus, they’re also hosting a regular Saturday night Doubles Bring, 23 Point Max, with an 8:00pm sharp start. See their ad here for details.
