Big money at the Inn

By Ty Hughes
Saturday, September 17 was the first time the Inn Sportsbar had hosted a $1,000 Added. Sure, there were plenty of other tournaments going on, but they rolled the dice, took a chance, and pulled it off with flying colors.
Twenty-two teams came out to the Inn that Saturday night for the big-money dart shoot. Dart Coordinator, Ed Winkle, was busy keeping everyone busy. So many familiar faces filled the room. Dart “regulars” from the northend flooded the Inn, ordering food and drinks in massive amounts. Even Nico and his buddies traveled up from Seattle to join the action, hoping to walk away with some extra cash in their pockets.
Jack Stickles and Stephanie Stotesberry managed to put Ed Winkle out of the tournament, not realizing at the time that he was the designated “Bounty Team”. They were handed a hundred dollar bill for this feat, which went a long way to covering Jack’s mounting bar bill that night.
Congratulations are an order for the following tournament players that night:

1st Place ($650); Carlos and Dustin
2nd Place ($280); Doug and Moody
3rd Place; Daniel and Don

Owners Michael and Cindy have completely transformed this fledgling bar since taking ownership. They’ve incorporated their years of experience in the industry and implemented a philosophy toward the business that has paid off bigtime. Simple ideas, like keep it clean, simple, cater to the females and the boys will come, offer inexpensive drinks and do volume rather than try to scrape by charging premium prices.
They’ve been able to built their business around a great staff, excellent entertainment, and maintaining a hands-on approach despite a tough economy. People still go to the bars in a recession, probably even more. But with your competition on every corner, how can you stand out and ensure that your customers visit your bar first? Well, Michael and Cindy have an idea about that. And it seems to be working like a charm at the Inn Sportsbar!
Pop in and take a gander at the operation in Lynnwood at 16716 Hwy 99, or call them at (425) 743-0700. Also check out their active Facebook page under “The-Inn Sports-Bar And-Grill”.
They will also be hosting the official northend’s In-House Summer League Finals on Saturday, October 1 and Saturday, October 8. Check out their ad for division breakdown, times, etc. Everyone will appreciate the money-saving deals they’re putting together for the dart players at the Inn, not to mention a wide-open floor plan that allows you to check out all those beautiful staff members… guys!
