All-new Schafer’s does darts

There’s a brand new dart house in Sumner for all you Southenders to compete and show off your dart skills! The all-new Schafer’s Bar & Grill, formerly Kirby’s in Sumner, is your newest entertainment headquarters whether you play darts, sing karaoke, enjoy live bands and dancing, Skee Ball tournaments, or just hanging out with a fun, wholesome crowd.
Operator Don Cain and his son Michael hosted a Fall dart league sign up shoot on Saturday, September 10. They’re anxious to get the word out about Schafer’s. Dart players will love this place!
Recently acquired by an experienced team of family-owned management, Schafer’s has been completely revamped and renewed to reflect the quality that is synonymous with the Schafer’s. They actually tore down an entire wall, opening up the bar into the space next door, and expanded the “playing field” for their faithful customers. Now they offer (2) Skee Ball games where, yes, they actually host tournaments on these things! Pool tables, shuffleboard, Golden Tee Golf, and full-sized video games surround the speed bar in the all-new ‘game room’. Co-owner Bonnie explained that a speed bar is remote, just the basics, beer, wine, and well drinks basically.
Far away from all the distractions of the game room. Back in the rear, past the long-stretching primary bar, is another section altogether with three happy Medalist Avanti dartboards just waiting for you! Now you dart fanatics need not worry about a thing, because you get to experience Schafer’s killer, completely dedicated dart area for yourself every Saturday night for a 7:30pm sign up Parity Draw shoot.
Then again on Saturday, October 8 for their first $200 Added parity draw shoot at 7:30pm sign up. Come down anytime and throw some practice games with friends on your lunch hour or after work.
Beyond the boards and the stand up tables, on the opposite wall is a gigantic, crystal-clear, 12 foot projection TV. So huge the football players are almost life size! Awesome!
Schafer’s is your Football HQ every Sunday. Come in and watch all the games in HDTV! From 9am-Noon on Sunday they’re serving up a tasty breakfast and a unique build-your-own Bloody Mary bar! What a great way to spend your Seahawk Sundays, and Schafer’s is giving away Game Day mugs every quarter of the game.
Just out the back door is Schafer’s nice, big, fully-fenced smoking patio, so smokers can keep an eye on their dart game. And the music is good and loud, just the way we like it! Excellent food and drink specials to save you money, plus absolutely fantastic table service!
The dart room is right at the end of the bar, so everything you could possibly need is right at your fingertips at Schafer’s.
