1st and 3rd Thursday at Jimmy Ts

Jimmy T’s is the place to be on Thursday night if you’re looking for a good dart shoot. DeWayne is running the darts up at there at Jimmy T’s on the Kent East Hill and workin’ hard at gettin’ players signed up for Fall season. He’s got a good core of friends that come out for the tourney, and they usually bring several friends along with them. I’m always seeing new faces when I stop in.

DeWayne’s got a real performer’s spirit. He can play that damn guitar and even sing some. He wouldn’t think twice about luggin’ that thing into the bar and jammin’. Usually he’ll attract a small crowd. And whatever you like, no matter how obscure, he can freakin’ play it on his guitar right in front of you!

On the first and third Thursday of every month, you’ll find quite a gathering at Jimmy T’s for their $300 Added with just 8 teams. You know they always get their minimum and typically a bunch more too. There’s a real good vibe about the place here, not only at the dart boards but around the room. The bar promises $3 beers for all you dart players during the shoots. The dart tournaments don’t start until around 10pm or so, but if you get here for their all-day happy hour, 11am-7pm, you too will enjoy the fabulous $5 menu of fresh appetizers! Plus, they’ll throw in $2.75 well drinks and just two bucks for a draft beer! Now you cannot beat that!

There’s so much to do at Jimmy T’s besides the enjoyment that can be found in a favorite cocktail of choice. DJ Dyce is here on Thursdays too spinning his medley of 80’s tunes. He comes back on Friday and Saturday night with DJ Freak and they rock the house!
