Women’s Cup Warriors!

A beautiful, bright and sunny Saturday afternoon was the backdrop to another exciting Cup challenge at the Inn Sports Bar & Grill, where the Women’s Cup is actually growing roots!

Right from the coin toss, it was game on! Charissa, Yelena, Anna, and Sarah ventured north for Cloud 9, ready to represent. They were fit to be tied,  well prepared to take on this seemingly impenetrable Women’s Cup team of champs. They’ve been reading about this team, hearing stories… they were ready to dethrone this infamous Inn team; Sandy, Jill, Regina and Tabatha, and start a new regime!

After the pleasantries, both teams flew out of the gates with mindbending darts, female on female, north vs. south – who wanted it more? Who had the cojones… wait.

The Inn had everything, and nothing to prove. Putting their worthiness on display again and again over the past year. It becomes a matter of pride, ownership, and reputation. They are winners!

As the day wore on, it looked like they were going to take this match all the way to the very last game in a best of 33 challenge. Trading games, the score stayed tight 5-5, 10-10, then 12-12. A magnificent match to watch, the Cloud 9 supporters cheered on their team all the way to the finishline.

Down to the wire, this match was exhausting for everyone, including us just watching!

In the 32nd game, Tabatha Hutton took out the final game of the match and secured the win, 17-15, the Inn girls defend their title and so much more! Wow! Way to go Cloud 9, what a squeaker!

Congratulations to Sandy, Jill, Regina, and Tabatha for such an incredible run as Women’s Cup Champs!
