Hot Shot Cup goes rounds

On Saturday June 21st, team Wah Long consisting of Kal Gunter, Daniel Kahala, Harry Iwata and Jayleen Latimer went to Cloud 9 to challenge the holders’ team consisting of Suk Lee, Josh Carlton, David Russo and Sheree Goehring.

It started with Wah Long taking the first game. In game two, Daniel steps up to hit a Hat Trick, but Dave came up right after him and hit a Hat Trick as well, with Cloud taking taking the game. They went back and forth until Cloud 9 took a three-game lead by game nine.

Ruby and Nico showed up briefly to support their Wah Long team and Cloud had plenty of support including the bar staff, Sumit and Ryan and owner Ike.

By game 13, Cloud 9 continued to hold their lead, but only by one game. Josh and Sheree were playing Cricket against Daniel and Jayleen in game 19. It didn’t look good for Josh and Sheree, all they had closed were 20′s and Bulls with an X on 15s. Daniel and Jayleen had everything else closed but Bulls, Josh stepped up to the line and hits an amazing 3-In-The-Black on bulls to give them the point lead and they went on to win that game.

It was quite a battle, but Cloud 9 ended up winning this one, with a final score of 17 to 12.
