Annual Dog Fight is all bark, no bite

It was all testosterone at Sporty’s Beef & Brew on New Years Day 2012. The only estrogen in the house was that of the beautiful waitstaff, and an occasional, non-dart throwing passerby. The rest were all men, and they had a job to do today. It was all about who was to dominate at the dart boards and stand tall, beating their chests after the final dart was thrown.
Turkeys fly at Sporty’s

Sporty’s 12th Annual Turkey Bowling has always been one of their biggest nights of the year, and Thanksgiving 2011 would not disappoint.
Owners Joe and Jack, were steeped in flying turkey bits when they saw over a hundred bowlers come out to experience this whole Turkey Bowling phenomena first-hand. Held only on the day before Thanksgiving, and only at Sporty’s Beef & Brew in Everett, bowlers line up for hours to get their hands on a set of rapidly thawing, and deteriorating birds.

Sporty’s Beef & Brew in Everett hosted a Saturday night dart shoot on February 19 where 24 dart players showed up to make up twelve teams competing.
Sporty’s Co-owner Jack was hard at work fixing some bum wiring amidst some thirty people engrossed in a Silvertips hockey game on Sporty’s huge 10-foot big screen. The place was already rockin’ before the dart shoot even got underway.

Chris Mackie entertained 21 teams to kick off 2011 with a bang. Sporty’s annual Dog Fight tournament consumed New Years Day, once again running in tandem with Cactus Moon’s 22nd annual Cat Fight.
