New Years Day rained cats and dogs

January 1, 2012 was a memorable day, and significant in darts locally. First of all, the world certainly did not end, as is evidenced by the fact that you are reading this article right now; secondly, you survived New Year’s Eve, again; and thirdly, Cactus Moon Saloon hosted their annual Cat Fight, while Sporty’s Beef and Brew hosted the opposite, also annual, Dog Fight.

very month brings a plethora of exciting dart tournaments to the Northwest’s most elite dart house, the bar where everyone has played at some point or another, the Cactus Moon Saloon.
Teresa, Cactus Moon’s Coordinator, was gone that night. Probably in the Bahamas somewhere. So Mark Hinton was kind enough to step in and run their monthly $750 Added Trios shoot.
Cactus Moon Annual Labor Day Sunday $1500 Added

I was so excited when Teresa Hestkind asked me if I wanted to shoot with her for Cactus Moon’s 2nd $750 Added shoot in the same day!
The Cactus Moon again turned the Memorial Day weekend into a festival of darts when they hosted their annual Memorial Sunday $1,500 Added day to honor the game and the players.

Cactus Moon Trios takes darts to the extreme!

Everett’s Cactus Moon Saloon hosted yet another freakishly popular Trios tournament on Friday, April 8. Except, this one wasn’t quite so freakish. Pulling twelve teams out of thin air, the Cactus Moon followed through on their promise to add $600 of their own money to the payout, ensuring that the players found the trip worthwhile. No wonder why the Cactus Moon is considered Everett’s mega-dart house!
Thrill-seekers flock to Cactus for Unlimited Doubles
Todd “The Jackyl” Jordan and Dave “The Breeze” Bresee set aside Saturday, March 12 for one very important reason. The same exact reason that 18 other qualified dart players around the Puget Sound did the very same thing.
Todd and Dave would be putting up their Unlimited Doubles Challenge Cup for grabs to anyone who thought they might have the cojones to walk in and play ’em for it! There were plenty who did too.
Meow or Rawr, pick your poison

Twenty-two years ago, a tradition was borne. It was up to the girls to bring forth (young); give birth to: to bear a child. But this time it was a girl’s-only party. And you’d better like to play darts, because 22 years ago, these fun-lovin’ ladies began a near-quarter century tradition in darts that continues today! How cool is that?!

Cactus takes Unlimited Doubles

November 20, 2010 – Naomi Bentz, Kelly Pappuzza, Mark Rowe, and Jeff Christian boogied on up I-5 North about 70 miles to a familiar Cactus Moon to retrieve the Mixed Memorial Cup.
