Big party in small but lively pub By Scott Kringle From Seattle , you head north, and within 40 minutes you will drive thought a little city called Everett . Just on the north side as you're leaving, you will see one last building—that is the 7th St. Pub. On Saturday, September 2, 7th St. Pub put on a $400 GTD dart tournament and league sign-up party. Tamara, the dart coordinator, had thirteen teams sign up for the fall league. Happening at the same time in the pub was a night of karaoke. With what seemed to be everyone in the bar (other then Karen Kringle) going up to stage and put in the best voice to their favorite song, the place was jumping. Tamera had sixteen teams sign up for the sixteen-point FBP tournaments, and at 9:30pm the darts started to fly. Tammy showed up with her sister Tina, and her other half, Jack. Jack said he had never shot in a dart tournament, and was having a great time as a first-timer. You could say his cherry is now popped. Augie Agge showed up and shot with Karen; Augie has been MIA the last few months, and it was nice to see her out and about again. Casey came down from Kodiak's Pub and Grill in Everett , and brought her voice with her, too. Outstanding Casey—we will see you on the next American Idol. Robert also put up the voice, and if you've ever heard him sing, well, you know he has what it takes. The payout was $250 for first place, $190 for second, $100 for third, and $20 for fourth place. Taking the night and the first-place money was the team of Guy and Mackie, beating out the team of Bui and Jerry. It was a great night in this little building at the north end of Everett , and if you've never been here you're missing out on some good-old fun stuff. From the 7th Street Pub in Everett , I'm Scott Kringle, and “that's the way the dart flew.”
