Kidz Shoot anniversary

By Scott Kringle

On Saturday, September 30, Jimmy Jack's in Everett put on its 2nd Year Anniversary Kidz Shoot. Fourteen teams made up of kids and adults filled the place. Jimmy Jack's put out cupcakes, pop, hamburgers, spaghetti, and most anything else your heart desired. The game played was ‘01 only, and some of the shooters were standing on chairs in order just to hit the board. Tami was the coordinator for the day. “I did not think there was going to be this many teams,” Tami said.

The owner of Jimmy Jack's opened up the pool table to unlimited play, and most everyone in the place gave pool a try. All who shot this Kidz Shoot received a trophy, and the top three places also got their very own set of darts. Fourth place went to the team of Jimmy Markez and Debbie Soule. Third Place went to the team of Craig Arganti and Nate Hestkind. Second place went to the team of David Foster and Kayla Kringle, and winning the whole thing was the tough team of Ray Cowlez and Rachael Cella.

When Rachael was asked if she had any comment, she said it was the first time she had ever won. Rachael said she has shot in kids shoots before, but never did this well.

Look in the upcoming Medallion for the next kids shoot in your area – it is great fun for you and your child. From Jimmy Jack's in Everett , I'm Scott Kringle, “and that's the way the darts flew.”
