4x7 Cup heads to the Waterfront

Bowlero Lanes' Joe Brown, Bullet, Carl Shuck and Steve Heyman hosted Bellingham's Waterfront Tavern team of Kenny Vos, Eric Leverson, Mitch Longstretch and Lynne Farmer for the 4x7 Cup last Saturday, October 14 (who came in four points under the cap).

The Waterfront Tavern invites everybody to come up and visit them sometime in Bellingham , just a quick jaunt up the 1-5 freeway from Seattle .

Willie Richardson, Lori, Sheila, Deanna, E, Hele, Dub and Cathy Smith came down to watch the match and appreciated the outstanding service, which is customary at Bowlero Lanes.

The two teams exchanged the first four opening games, before the Waterfront strung together a couple of wins to go up in the match. Bowlero played hard, and by game 12 had tied the match back up 6-6. Bullet and Steve came from behind to win in game 13, giving Bowlero their first lead since game three.

The match was tied up once again in game 14, when Lynne took the game out in dramatic fashion. Kenny shot a White Horse (18s, 17s 16s) in game 16, giving his team the lead they needed to secure the game. After a long battle and the distraction of the Super Count Up Semi-Finals match being held right next to them, the Waterfront Tavern pulled out the victory, making this their first cup victory in quite some time.
