Jimmy Jack's Engages The Kids

Jumping on board with the ever-popular and growing Kid's Shoot concept is Jimmy Jacks in Everett.
Their first Kid's Shoot took place the afternoon of Saturday, March 12th. Mike and Debbie, owners, and Jon, Coordinator, were admittedly hesitant about the turnout due to the fact that it was their first one ever. However, their concerns were quickly put to rest when the place filled with little rugrats running around climbing the curtains and jumping on the pool tables. Well, it wasn't like that at all, really, just a whole lotta kids out for a grand time doing what their parents and guardians love to do the most, throw their darts.
Sixteen teams were on the docket and they weren't slumps, either. I'm tellin' ya, some of these kids would find themselves in the Pit at State if given the chance. Oh, you laugh! Just show up and put your money where your mouth is, why don't you. Kids and adults both threw like champions all day and had an incredible time, as usual. Robert and Darian took on Mike and Jimmy in the loser's, excuse me, Jon, the challenger's bracket.
"There are no losers at this tournament," he says, vehemently.
Mike and Jimmy forced Robert and Darian to settle on a respectable third place finish, and it was on to the unbeaten, driver's seat holders, Gerry and Gregory. They gave it their all, but Gerry and Gregory proved too tough that day and handed them a second place title. Congratulations, Gerry and Gregory on a well-fought battle to the finish. You deserve the glory and, of course, the biggest trophy in the bunch.
Jimmy Jacks was a gracious host location, offering cake and ice cream to the kids. Not to mention the customary trophy to each and every participant. The Madison Ave clan was in full effect that day as they piled the whole fam-damily in the wagon and toted them down for the occasion. They were, by far, the most well represented clan.
Thanks to everyone who came out. The kids loved the loud, popular music and the pool tables. Believe me, there is nothing cooler than seeing a young person awarded with their very first trophy. The way their faces light up is priceless. I'd not be surprised if young Jeremy took his very first trophy to bed that night. Way to go, big guy!
