Rick and Amy finally celebrated the birth of their brand new, beautiful baby girl, Alexis Jolee, on October.
Correction (pg 3)
Tony Ashworth was inadvertently omitted from the Grand Master’s list of winners last month when reporting the winners from Las Vegas World Championships. He was, in fact, the only Washington-based player to finish in the top three.

Bobby and Alisa get engaged
“Now, I know most of you thought we were already married, but after three and a half years together, Bobby popped the question and I said yes. So, we’re getting married!” ~ Alisa
Bobby and Alisa have been in the Tacoma dart community for over 12 years. Without knowing it, they both followed Steve and Jackie Heyman from bar to bar, starting with the Longhorn in Lakewood to Inni’s today. But, they didn’t actually become acquainted until about five years ago playing darts at Jimmy G’s in Tacoma. Their paths crossed many times for two years until one day in December 2003, at a tournament in Tacoma, Alisa made her move, and they have been together ever since. The wedding will be in June 2008.
Welcome, Baby Karlee
Karlee Elizabeth Syverson was born to Jesse and Kim Syverson on April 16th at 11:15pm. She was 7 lbs 3 oz and 19 in long.
And Baby Devon
Well, my beautiful boy finally made his entrance into the world via C-section on April 21st at 12:14 am! He was 9 lbs, 4 oz, 22 in with a 15 inch head, hence the C-section!
He is doing wonderfully and I am recovering well also.
I would also like to say thank you to all of our friends and family whose generous gifts helped us get all of the major items that we needed to prepare for Devon’s arrival!
Here is a link to view some pictures of Devon, one week old, at dinner with his grandparents: www.flickr.com/photos/8047562@N06/sets/72157600157895512.
Love to all, Ramona and Josh

Player Poll:
The question is quite a simple one:
Why do you like to play darts? Why do you not?
We, at the Medallion, like to take the pulse of our readership from time to time with an unofficial poll. Please take the time to respond with your explanations by email at: editor@themedallion.net . These polls can also be found on our website at: www.themedallion.net. We may publish your submittals in a future issue.
Northend reporter wanted!
Will someone up north, PLEASE help us out?!
We desperately need a reporter-type person in place anywhere from North Seattle to Bellingham ! This person would be required to cover a dart tournament or two each month and send us the goods. If you're comfortable in the karaoke scene, bonus!
I'm sure there's somebody out there with a digital camera and an email account! Possibly even a small ability to form a complete sentence? See there, I've gone too far!
Please contact editor@themedallion.net with your credentials, as vague as they may be.
And we thank you, The Medallion
Jason & Heather tie the knot
March 3, 2007 was a Saturday; and this was the day that our friends, Jason and Heather, became Mr. and Mrs. Merrell.
The ceremony was held at the Acadia in Portland , Oregon , on a perfect day for a wedding. The turnout of family and friends was very positive and the wedding itself was truly special indeed. The reception brought dancing, food, toasts and plenty of smiles. Jason and Heather promptly left the country, headed for Belize !
Congratulations to the two of you, and best of everything!
Shane turns the Big Four-0h!
Master Shane celebrated a birthday on Friday, March 9th. Where better to party and invite about a hundred of your closest friends, than your very own bar?!
Shane's lovely wife, Angie, was by his side and together they welcomed all their awesome buds to cut loose.
Happy birthday, Shane!

Adam Fisher
On Monday, September 11, 2006, we lost a dear friend, Adam Fisher. Adam, a cook at GT's for a couple of years, was a great friend to many. Many who knew him are greatly devastated at a loss of life too young.
If you knew Adam, you knew he was full of life. He loved music and to be around friends. His laugh was so unique, and he loved to tell stories. As I write this, with tears in my eyes, I can hear his voice telling me a story now, and laughing as he does. Did. That will be greatly missed.
Never playing darts before working at GT's, he could not figure out everyone's obsession for this game. So of course, we had to make him play a tourney – and he won; and then he knew why everyone comes out week after week. He made many new friends, and earned his first two trophies in his life.
Adam was a great caregiver to his family. The family has suffered a great loss with his untimely death. He leaves behind two brothers and a grandmother, who he cared for. Thank you to everyone who made it out to help and to remember Adam.
On Saturday, September 30, GT's held a benefit shoot and memorial for him. The proceeds went to his family to help them in their time of need.
Did I disappoint you or let you down?
Should I be feeling guilty or let the judges frown?
‘Cause I saw the end before we'd begun,
Yes I saw you were blinded and I knew I had won.
So I took what's mine by eternal right.
Took your soul out into the night.
It may be over but it won't stop there,
I am here for you if you'd only care.
You touched my heart you touched my soul.
You changed my life and all my goals.
And love is blind and that I knew when,
My heart was blinded by you.
I've kissed your lips and held your head.
Shared your dreams and shared your bed.
I know you well, I know your smell.
I've been addicted to you.
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.
I am a dreamer but when I wake,
You can't break my spirit; it's my dreams you take.
And as you move on, remember me,
Remember us and all we used to be.
I've seen you cry, I've seen you smile.
I've watched you sleeping for a while.
I'd be the father of your child.
I'd spend a lifetime with you.
I know your fears and you know mine.
We've had our doubts but now we're fine,
And I love you, I swear that's true.
I cannot live without you.
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.
And I still hold your hand in mine.
In mine when I'm asleep.
And I will bear my soul in time,
When I'm kneeling at your feet.
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.
I'm so hollow, baby, I'm so hollow.
I'm so, I'm so, I'm so hollow.
Craig & Molly - it's official!
Craig Masterman proposed to Miss Molly Megan (Molls Dolls Baby) Thorn Saturday, September 24, at Cactus Moon. With all of their friends there to celebrate Craig's birthday, he had a surprise for all of us. Craig brought Molly into the middle of the room and serenaded her, singing “I Cross My Heart”.
After the song was over, he proceeded to get down on one knee and ask her for her hand for life. She, with the biggest smile you have ever seen, said yes!
Congratulations! We love you two!
Congratulations Matt & Cobi
Matt and Cobi tied the knot on September 16 in Las Vegas ! Surrounded by lots of friends and family, the two had a beautiful ceremony at the MGM Grand Hotel.
The two are a favorite couple for most – be sure to congratulate them when you see them.
