The incomparable Jimmie Martin is officially out of retirement from dart coordinating! Jimmie is proud to announce that “the store is open for business” at JR's Steakhouse on State Street in Marysville. Dart players of every type are personally invited to come out and enjoy JR's massive, multi-level bar in a modern nightclub setting. She's set on building a successful dart program over the long haul. Familiar with the process and with the patience to boot, Jimmie is the best one for the job. Jr's owner, Chuck, is elated to have the likes of dart goddess, Jimmie Martin, commit to creating a steady stream of dart activity for the bar. Jimmie says, “It's great for me, I just live down the road a couple miles.” Fifteen league teams is her goal for the Fall Season. She'll have no problem reaching that goal. If you live in the Marysville area, think about swinging by and signing up on a team or just play in their tournaments at JR's. It's like an entire city of amenity under the roof of JR's Steakhouse! A gargantuan dance floor lives at the foot of a towering big screen TV. That thing's gotta be about 15 feet humongous! They've got all the popular electronic games available and a huge, fully stocked bar! The wrap-around loft offers a breakaway view of the dance floor and main floor action. There are several separate rooms throughout, including a VIP Lounge with big, soft couches to kick back. Pool tables are scattered throughout the location, upstairs, downstairs. Step down a few more steps left of the bar into a private and sunken dart room. Four dart boards line the walls in this comfortable room with great sound and view of the main floor. Jimmie is lobbying to have more boards placed along the wall upstairs too. The smartly designed interior and long-stretching bar along with the high ceiling make it a target hotspot for many a funseeker. The staff is a smily bunch and cute too. The steakhouse next to the lounge is where you get your steak on in a big way. They will serve up a slab of Angus that'll have you salivating for a week. Then head back to the bar for Twister Tuesdays when they play Extreme Twister on a gigantic, 16 foot inflatable twister board. Sexy!
