Casino plays in the dark!
By Scott Kringle
On May 15, Goldie’s Shoreline featured their “Black Light Shoot” tournament.
With Coordinator Jill Cates getting 10 teams signed up for the shoot, the mood was great. Now, if you have never been to Goldie’s Shoreline Casino in Seattle, you are really missing out on a treat. There is a dart area along with a karaoke stage. They have a huge dining and pull tab area, and if that wasn’t enough, there is a casino with a bunch of different card games to play.
On this night, Jill took out all the flourescent lights in the dart boards and replaced them with black lights. This makes the board look really dark, but lights it up with some truly awesome colors.
Shawn Erving worked on his game before the tournament started. Shawn said he has played this type of match before and that it was fun. Then there were shots all around, of the alcoholic persuasion, of course.
With $750 added to the pot, it was a great way to take home a few extra bucks.
Goldie’s has a dart shoot every Wednesday night at 10pm, adding up to $600 with 20 or more teams that show up. And you can try out your voice Tuesday and Thursday night with some lively karaoke.
If you are interested in shooting league out of Goldie’s Shoreline Casino, please contact Jill at Goldie’s any time.
